Hell!
One day, you will nuke yourself with that thing *lol*

How do you aim? And is there/will there be a AA defense for the enemies?

Great job - need that on the BF2 carrier for wake ...

Happened already - did it in testing a couple times when I underestimated the safe distance to observe from. The demo was only 5 kilotons, but the damage ranges are still note-worthy.

Did my best to make the damage effects accurate also. You can find T-72s with the engine still running and crew killed by the prompt radiation. Also things moved by the blast, shoved an M1A2 uphill 30m one time.

You can target coords either via script ( for AI ) or via a GUI that Mando wrote - point and click.

The incoming missile is detectable, so you can try to shoot it down. Mando also has a nice simulation of Patriot missiles.

Carrier - heheh. Right now we're working on details of a water burst. Mando likes naval warfare ( fan of the game Harpoon ) and several model makers have implimented some very nice ships. Outfitted with his weapons systems, a carrier with destroyer/frigate escort is not exactly a soft target.

From a while back...

So true!
It is hard enough to take down destroyers in SilentHunter. But a carrier with some destroyers around needs a pack of "wolfes" to be successful :P

Great to see so much realism in a game!

Once you master the controls it's hugely addicting. Not a game, this sim is a lifestyle.

The interaction between Bohemia Interactive, the players, and addon makers is amazing. If someone wants a feature, the primary questions are more along who will do it and when rather than if it can be done. You really have to push the envelope to come up with something absolutely impossible. Case in point is our nuke. What has suprised people is how little lag this baby generates despite the huge number of particles and light sources.

Playing ArmA2 and OA is huge fun. Coding new stuff for it is my Zen time.
